Hi, since today (19 Jan 2026) my Google AI Studio access stopped working.
Timeline:
- Worked until ~11:00
- Started failing around ~13:00
Error:
- “Failed to list models: permission denied”
- Then redirected to the “Available regions” page (Eligibility / age screen)
Details:
- I’m in Germany (supported region)
- Age is 18+ (DOB 1999)
- Tried with and without VPN: same result
- Happens in all browsers
- Another Google account works on the same device/network
- This account is a Workspace account and I’m not an admin
Can someone check whether my account is flagged or if there’s a backend eligibility issue?
