AI Pro Subscription

It’s pretty good.

Output’s a lot larger than it was before. Gonna have to be more specific with the word count from what I’m seeing. I had a prompt where in 3.1 Pro, it outputted around 3500 words. The Argon output had over 9000.

As for instructions, it seems to follow it more but from what I see, the larger the output, the more it struggles to stop using banned words.

I mostly use it for creative writing, for fun and stuff. Haven’t messed around with coding and everything.

Compared to Gemini 2.5 Pro, How much you find it good at Creative Writing ? Till now, Gemini 2.5 pro is the Best Model.

Currently, access to Gemini 4 Argon in Ai Studio is limited to Ultra and Paid API users. I hope they’ll release it for Pro subscribers someday.

It seems that with ai pro in the Gemini app argon can be accessed and only in ai studio it cannot with ai pro, can someone test this and tell the result?

Soon, they will make it available!

Right now anyone who has an ai pro subscription see if you can have access to argon in the gemini app or not

Your screenshot shows the Gemini App and Gemini.google.com.

Unfortunately, Google AI Studio is not the Gemini App (as far as I recall, on the Google AI pricing page, AI Studio is listed further down the list of benefits).

For Antigravity and AI Studio, Argon is CURRENTLY available only with an Ultra subscription.

@Gladiator7G I know it is from Gemini app and well my goal is to see if with ai pro subscription in gemini app the argon model is available for ai pro subscribers or not

As I understand it, Google is rolling out Argon in the Gemini app in phases. Personally, I don’t have it yet.

Does it mean the Argon option is not in the models or what does it show?

Once it is available for Pro users in Gemini App, It will be made available for Developers through AI Studio too!

I just noticed that Gemini 4 Argon was released about five minutes ago when I went to switch models, and I got so excited! But then I saw that it’s currently unavailable to Pro subscribers, which was a bit disappointing.

I’m hoping that now that they’ve finally released a next-generation model, they might also address the daily request limits for the older models. On the other hand, I’m a little worried that things might somehow get even worse instead. :sob:

I also really hope they’ll make the new Gemini model available in AI Studio to Pro subscribers soon, rather than limiting access to Ultra subscribers only.

Right now, the model selector in the Gemini App only shows Flash Lite, Flash, and 3.1 Pro. The 4 Argon isn’t listed. But it seems that some Pro subscribers on Reddit have seen it in the Gemini App.

Yeah it seems it is gradually getting enabled among users because for example the option in gemini app exists for me maybe it depends on the country and policies

Yeah, I have access to the new model

Well so can you use argon right now in gemini app? If possible give a screenshot

Yeah I guessed so it is available for gemini app with ai pro and well it is promising

The situation is a bit strange it is true with ai pro you can have access to argon in the gemini app but I noticed during the conversation automatically the reasoning level gets set from High to Low every time I try to put it on high it goes back to Low again

Damn! The situation of Argon with ai pro in the gemini app regarding the quota is driving me crazy I monitored the quota usage tracking just with a simple high Argon request the quota jumped from 53 percent usage to 81 percent used quota it was not even a complex request and the 5-hour gemini app quota finishes extremely fast with less than 10 requests - are you guys the same?
