Account Flagged for "Unusual Activity" on First Use / 15 Lines of Code

Hello,

I am seeking assistance with a restriction on my Google AI Studio account. I believe my account has been incorrectly flagged by an automated security filter, resulting in an “Unusual Activity” lockout.

The Situation: This was my first-ever attempt at using Google AI Studio. I am currently evaluating the free service to ensure it meets my technical needs before upgrading to a paid billing plan. I had just set up my project and generated approximately 15 lines of test code when the service became inaccessible. I was not performing any high-frequency requests, bulk generations, or complex scripting.

Details:

  • Usage: Minimal (approx. 15 lines of test code).

  • Error: “Unusual activity” / Account restricted.

  • Status: New user evaluating the platform for future upgrade.

Troubleshooting performed:

  • Verified it is not a daily quota limit.

  • Attempted to log in via Incognito and different browsers to rule out local cache issues.

  • Confirmed 2FA and account security settings are active.

Request: Because this was a brand-new setup and my usage was minimal, this appears to be a “False Positive” flag triggered during my initial onboarding.

Could a moderator or staff member please investigate this restriction or provide instructions on how to submit this account for a manual security review? I would like to continue my evaluation of the service.

Thank you for your help.
