Switching to Gemini 3 Flash would not only bring back active user engagement but would also provide a much faster response time and better cost efficiency for the platform. Are there any technical or licensing limitations preventing this upgrade?
They want you to use flash 3.5 so that you can spend more money to get the same task done, and still end up with the same bugs

The main difference is cost, 3.5 flash has the same speed, and much better quality, but costs about 70% more. However, it seems that Google is trying to optimize around quality.
If they wanted to optimize cost, they could have offered something like Gemma 4 with higher quota
I mean, Gemini 3 Flash (not to confuse it with the old gemini-3-flash-preview) is available when you log in via a Google Cloud project, so it’s not like it doesn’t work with Antigravity. I agree that GPT OSS is just there.
