Where are the refunds?

So,

Let me get this straight.

We all joined Pro or Ultra subscriptions. And For over 2 months have bene having ongoing issue. And now for the last 2 weeks, and more critically the last 7 days. Cannot even use the service.

Where are the mass refunds?

This is likely illegal in several countries across many jurisdictions.

Let me tell you the position as an Australian…

Australian Consumer Law on Service Failures

Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), enforced by the ACCC, provides automatic consumer guarantees for all services, including digital subscriptions like Google Antigravity Pro/Ultra.

Services must:

  • Be rendered with due care and skill

  • Be reasonably fit for any purpose made known or implied

  • Achieve the desired result communicated or advertised

  • Be supplied within a reasonable time

Major vs Minor Failure

  • Minor failure: Business must repair/re-supply the service within reasonable time; consumer chooses remedy if they fail.

  • Major failure: Service substantially differs from description; not fit for purpose; reasonable consumer wouldn’t buy knowing defect. Consumer can reject service, cancel contract, and get refund for unused portion + compensation.

Persistent outages (e.g., 2 weeks unusable) typically qualify as major failure.

Google’s Position

Google’s terms (e.g., Google One/Antigravity ToS) state refunds follow their policy but explicitly acknowledge: “You may have consumer rights under applicable law that cannot be limited by contract.”

ACL guarantees override Google’s ToS for Australian consumers; Google must comply despite “no refunds” clauses elsewhere.

So here’s the angle. Get your act together, publish an acknowledgement and resolution time frame or this goes to the ACCC.

I signed up just to agree with Jonathan. I’m also Australian and am glad we have strong consumer protection laws.

At the end of last year I made an ACL complaint against the Google Chromecast division for not providing '“undisturbed possession” of features on my CCwGTV devices. i.e. Google removed functionality. It went to the local Google legal team who understood my ACL position and provided two upgraded replacement devices that retained the functionality free of charge.

I’m not on one of the higher G1 plans, but have still experienced the pains of those who are. Not seeing any action by Google to rectify these issues is the one factor stopping me from upgrading to a higher plan.

No “we all” did not.
Im on ultra and have no issues et all except for a few days earlier this week with the 503:s, but even then, is a bit of stability issues for a few days ground for a refund to you?

Thanks for your reply sweetheart. You must not be a power user. First they reduced Claude and GPT usage by 90%. Then they increased timeouts. Now we have ongoing errors. I joined Ultra 2 months ago. About 2 weeks after I joined, issues began.

Next time I’ll be sure to use * when commenting about a collective group. As always, there are some sweethearts around.

@oli_hlmpn → are you joking? I literally saw my usage drop from 4-5x of what it was to now with any project big or small capping out my usage in just 5-8 prompts.

You must be the only one my guy because look all over this forum. These problems are everywhere.

Google is shadow banning accounts. Some accounts are working normally (maybe <5% error high usage), others are suffering >95% high usage error make them unable to use anything.
So this is not stability issues for those shadow banned accounts. I can’t use AG at all when my friends sit next to me using the same wifi can use it without any issues. I changed to another account, worked fine, switched back, all errors.

I replied to a different post in this forum, asking about a potential refund, on a different Google account, and Google banned me from replying here. I have doubts this reply will even get through.

Tenho o plano ULTRA em uma conta há 4 meses, e tem um mês mais ou menos que vem com restrições que não responde nada usando claude sonnet 4.6… apenas no flash ou gemini 3.1. Portanto ao assinar um novo plano em um e-mail diferente, percebi que não há nenhuma restrição de uso… enviei os mesmos prompts simultaneamente no PC/Notebook… e advinha, apenas o ULTRA no notebook recém assinado está correspondendo normalmente, já o ULTRA que tenho há mais de 4 meses não funciona nada.

I tested this theory and it’s not true. I logged into antigravity with me 10+ year google account, free user. Never paid for pro etc on it. And it just kept throwing error after error after error. I don’t think it’s a shadow ban. I really think it’s google

It some mechanism that target account alone, not server wide.

Just try some more accounts, you will see. I just tested on pro accounts. Now i have 2 accounts that 99% error and 1 account work perfectly. My friends got the same behavior.

You can think it coincidence yourself, ppl who have account works don’t care, google don’t care too
