What's the quota plan going forward?

I am afflicted the same as others here, but there was hope 3 days ago. I found that the 3.1 Pro models indicated “new” next to the name. Using them I found that I was getting things done, though quota drain is much worse than the first 3 months still. I’m coping with working the Flash model for easy things. For 2 days it was working fine with 5.5 hour refreshes. Last night I saw that there was a tool upgrade and thought about trying to avoid it. For a tool I want to use for important projects I can’t play that game. I need to rely on a tool to do the job I’m expecting. I upgraded and I woke up this morning with a 6+ day refresh. Back to this again. So what’s the plan… I’m looking to understand if we are staying with the 7 day refresh or is it just broken and we’re going to something else? Whatever the plan is, I can make my choices.
