I’ve noticed that the quota limit is getting exhausted way faster than in version 3, even with a pro plan.
Anyone else noticed this? Or is it just me?

Don’t understand how a pro plan is giving me this message? So, I can’t use the new model until this date, but I cannot use the “older” one, because it’s not available? Again, even with a pro plan?
Same here. It seems like this model has quite lower quotas than Gemini 3.
got same issue here, i’ve got locked for 1 day for hit limit 5-hour quota on gemini 3.1.
is google have publish their new policy about this quota rollback ?, or is it just a bug ?

Lol, I used new Gemini 3.1 pro for two days and after 2nd time the quota was exceeded, it limited me for 6 days, until 28.02.2026. No such issues with previous 3.0 model, despite the fact that I used it much more. Pro AI plan as well, upgrading to Ultra is insane.
Ok… 5 days waiting for quota renewal is, at the very least, hilarious.
How come before 3.1 I had to wait for 5 hours, and now I have to wait for 5 or 6 days to keep using the product? Where is the notice of this change? If the service is going to be updated and the terms of use are modified, I must be notified about it and allowed to accept or reject them.
If the number of tokens consumed by 3.1 is significantly greater than in the previous version, let us choose which version to use. Return version 3, at least the waiting time was 5 hours, and not 5 days.
Same issue, with 3 pro I could work in three whole specification lifecycles using spec kit, but with 3.1, I can only work in one before I hit the limit.
