What are Antigravity's strengths?

I don’t have much experience with other IDEs, but from what I’ve seen, Antigravity is very similar to all other VS Code-based IDEs. setting aside Agent Manager (which, honestly, I can’t find a use for in my workflow) and the Antigravity Agent chat, are there any other features of Antigravity you feel distinguish it from other popular IDEs? What would I miss if I left Antigravity?

Let’s try to focus on the positives. No, “I know what you wouldn’t miss, the horrible …”. None of that, please.

Positive side you will able to prompt once a week. Current rate limits only allows to chat and do 1 little task with AI within week. (Pro paid user)
if you will use it for fully self coding then no difference between other VSCode based editors.

Ok, you want to hear only the positive, I have to restrain myself here. I have used Antigravity for 3 months while at a company I work for I must use other tooling, so I think the strong points are:

  • Nice looking UI, this is probably there strongest feature. And you could run things in parallel but I never use this.

  • Think if use do mostly front-end work and so use Gemini 3.1 the most, it might sill be a good choice even with the current restricted usage. But do make sure you actually watch your workflow running and stop it when it goes into a loop to make sure you are not burning your credits in no time since it is still a bit buggy.

  • The planning and then exceute workflow when starting for Planning mode. You can do the same in other tooling but here it is more builtin. But again watch out that it is doing the right thing do not leave a flow unattended because you then waste you credits in no time.

  • The interactive browser, you can do the same in other tooling using the playwright MCP server and a skill, but it is nice that it is already built-in (think uder the hood it also uses Playwright).

  • Gemini is fast, while also having limited access to Opus which is a true powerhorse that gets almost anything done

I have got a lot of value out of my subscription the past 3 months, but due to recent changes I am not sure what the future brings.
