Werid gemini problem when resizing the window

In the Gemini web application, when I am reading a conversation and scroll to the middle of it, resizing the browser window (for example, changing the window height by dragging the top edge) causes the page to unexpectedly jump back to the top of the conversation.

Instead of maintaining the current scroll position—or at least staying close to where I was—the app resets the scroll position to the beginning. This breaks reading flow and makes it difficult to continue from where I left off.

I have attached a screen recording to clearly demonstrate the issue. This behavior feels like a scroll position reset during window resize, and it happens consistently.

This bug is very frustrating during normal use, especially when reviewing long conversations. Please look into this and fix it.

Same here! Really an annoying bug especially when using tiling window managers.

I’m having this issue as well (on both macOS and my linux tiling window manager) and it’s extremely annoying.

It’s not just a window resizing issue though - if I have chrome as a floating window (on my tiling window manager OR macos) I can resize the window without any issues. It’s only when I full-screen the window (on macos) or resize the window while in tiling mode (on linux) that it jumps back to the top of my current chat.
