Persistent Auto-Scrolling / Jumping Issue in Chat Interface

,

I am experiencing a severe and disruptive auto-scrolling issue when trying to review or edit my past dialogue in the chat interface.

Specifically:

1.Initial Jump: Whenever I scroll up to view my previous messages (my own input or the AI’s replies), the display immediately and forcibly jumps to the very first paragraph of the AI’s preceding response.

2. Repeated Jumping:If I attempt to scroll up further, or even just move the scroll wheel a single increment, the UI instantly jumps again to the previous AI-generated response, repeating the cycle. It seems to always snap to the beginning of an AI’s output.

3.Impact: This makes it impossible for me to locate or edit specific parts of my own messages, as the interface constantly pulls me away from where I’m trying to look. I am continuously being forced back down to earlier parts of the conversation, effectively preventing any meaningful review or editing of my input.

Expected Behavior:

When I scroll up, the display should remain at the exact scroll position I’ve chosen until I manually scroll again. It should not automatically jump to any part of the conversation without my input.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Engage in a conversation with the AI for several turns.

2. Attempt to scroll upwards to review any past message, particularly your own input.

3. Observe the immediate and repeated forceful jumps in the UI to the beginning of previous AI responses.

This issue significantly hinders the user experience and makes reviewing or correcting past messages practically impossible.
