Urgent: Production workloads blocked by monthly spending cap despite quota request submitted 8 days ago

Hi Google Gemini / Google Cloud team,

We urgently need help with increasing the billing spend cap for our Gemini API usage.

We submitted the official quota request Google Form 8 days ago, but we have not received any response or update yet. Meanwhile, our production workloads are now failing with the following error:

“Your billing account has exceeded its monthly spending cap”

This is currently impacting our live production systems and needs urgent resolution. We also tried reaching out to the Google Cloud Support team, but unfortunately, they were not able to provide a helpful path forward or escalate the issue effectively.

We need immediate assistance with one of the following:

  1. Increasing or removing the monthly billing spend cap for our billing account

  2. Escalating our already-submitted quota/spend cap request

  3. Providing a clear support path for production-critical Gemini API usage issues

We are actively using Gemini in production, and this blockage is causing service disruption for our users. Please help us resolve this as soon as possible.
