Following my previous post 9 days ago where I said that my projected bill for March up by 360% over February, well it is now 976% over February.
Last night I got an alert at 02.59 that I reached 90% of budget alert. At 05.26 another email said I had reached 100%. At 07.12 an email saying my API services were suspended. I was asleep through all of this. No active users of the app. No nocturnal, somnambulistic coding.
Alarmingly when looking at the breakdown I see that on 03/28 (Saturday) I was charged more in that one day than for the whole of the month to that date.
This activity did not happen. What little activity (manually updating a .ts file) was done with free tier operating.
Further analysis in cloud run shows that the actual usage was substantially less:
The billing support bot is useless. I now face a bill of £127.70 that will be charged on Wednesday.
My budget is exceeded. I can’t use my app as the API is suspended. I can’t believe any figures these reports show.
