I am a paying Google AI Ultra subscriber, and I have just been hit with a hard rate limit locking my models out until March 3rd. That is a full 7-day penalty for a premium plan that explicitly advertises a 5-hour rolling refresh window. This is completely unacceptable.
I am running a dual-agent development workflow locally. I understand that multi-agent setups consume tokens quickly. However, if I hit my quota, I expect to wait the advertised 5 hours for the refresh. I do not expect my paid account to be thrown into a 7-day penalty box without warning just because your backend telemetry doesn’t like the speed at which my agents are consuming the tokens I rightfully paid for.
A token is a token. If the Ultra tier promises a set capacity every 5 hours, that cap should apply equally, whether I am typing manually or using an autonomous agent framework. Punishing paying developers with a week-long bricked account for actually utilizing the service is ridiculous and defeats the entire purpose of a flat-rate subscription.
I expect this 7-day restriction to be lifted immediately to reflect the actual 5-hour terms of the Ultra plan. If Google’s infrastructure cannot handle developers using the tools they pay for, I expect a prorated refund for this month’s subscription.
AI Ultra Sub here as well, got the 7 day lockout a few hours ago. I am NOT using a dual-agent workflow. I have never seen my 5 hour quota dip below 80%, and I only got 2 or 3 hours of work in today.
To me this seems like a serious backend problem / hotfix issue. Some communication from Google would go a long way.
I’m dealing with this too in Antigravity. Get people dependent on a product then start pulling rugs. Oh well, there’s always Claude Code for $100 that will solve my needs instead of the upcoming $200+ bill from google.
I share the sentiment; I subscribed to the Ultra plan solely for use with Antigravity, and since subscribing, I have consistently experienced performance far below what was advertised. Since the release of Gemini 3.1, it appears that no model is functioning correctly.
Thank you for flagging this issue. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We have escalated the issue to our internal teams for a thorough investigation.
I have been a UK Ultra subscriber since September 2025. When the antigravity feature arrived, I loved it and still do, but today I unexpectedly hit a weekly limit even though I hardly ever go over 80% of my usage. What exactly am I paying $320 a month for? (Yes, I get charged ÂŁ235 per month). It honestly does not feel premium right now! Google needs to sort this out: either give us back the standard 5-hour limit, or give us transparent information and clear weekly limit quotas, especially for us Ultra subscribers.
Come on Google, stop giving out free offers when you can’t even look after your own paying users!
This morning my Quota is back, 5 hour reset as well. Hopefully they fixed the bug, and hopefully we’ll get a little more transparency on how the quotas work going forward.
I personally am willing to adjust my process based on quota rules, just like I adjust my energy use based on “Time of Use” rates from my utility. But to do that we need data.
yes this is my plan also, 100 for claude code max will be more than sufficient, Antigravity has been a great promo app for claude code, sad seeing such a great product crippled like this
Yeah, this is unacceptable for the best plan at $250 a month to have one week timeouts.
At most it should be normal 5 hour resets until you hit the weekly limit and then have reduced usage the rest of the week.
Especially how this was unlimited before hand and they never sent out a new tos to sign atleast as far as I’m aware none have been sent out for the antigravity client.
Chatting with support they say ( Google Antigravity ) will get me there. I have not tried. We are on workspace account with Pro and not good. I have to upgrade to ultra to try it out.
