Unable to upgrade Gemini API tier, need help

hello,

i’m unable to upgrade my gemini api tier. my first successful payment was 31 days ago, and my total spend to date is $326. based on the user tier documentation, i expected to see an option to request a tier upgrade on the api key page, but there’s no upgrade button or dropdown.

what i’ve tried

  • signed out/in, cleared cache, and tested multiple browsers/incognito
  • verified the billing account is active and in good standing; invoices are paid
  • confirmed the spend occurred on the same cloud project tied to this api key

  • can you confirm whether tier upgrades are currently enabled for accounts that meet spend and billing-age requirements?
  • if yes, could someone review my account and either enable the upgrade or tell me what prerequisite i’m missing?
  • i can dm my project id and the last 4 digits of my billing account id for investigation.
