Unable to upgrade from tier 1 to tier 2

Like many others here, I don’t have the option in my aistudio interface to upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 despite spending well over $250, and my first payment occurring on December 11th 2025 (more than 30 days ago).

I already confirmed this with Cloud Billing Support (which you usually tell people to contact for this, even though they have no ability to fix GenAI tiers). I attached the screenshot of the chat with Support and their confirmation that my first payment was more than 30 days ago.

Can you please resolve this issue? do you need my project ID?

Just to update - not sure if you changed something but I now suddenly see the upgrade button and could upgrade successfully. thanks!

Hi Klayhamn! Glad to hear that you were able to upgrade to the next tier. I will check to confirm our billing cycles and we will update the docs with some more information on how to upgrade.
