I have been unable to use Google Antigravity for over a week. After signing in with my personal Google account, the browser shows “You have successfully authenticated,” but the Antigravity app always displays: “There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later.”
This error occurs at the account setup step during onboarding (step 6 of 7), after configuring editor settings. The issue persists even after the latest app update.
What I’ve tried (all failed):
-
Clean uninstall and reinstall (deleted ~/Library/Application Support/Antigravity, ~/Library/Caches/Antigravity, ~/Library/Preferences/antigravity, ~/.antigravity)
-
Revoked Antigravity access from Google Account permissions and re-authenticated
-
Flushed DNS cache (sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder)
-
Restarted the app and macOS multiple times
-
Updated Antigravity to the latest version
-
Submitted feedback via in-app “Having trouble? Let us know” form (Auth and Billing category, with server logs attached) on Feb 20, 2026 — no response after 6 days
I previously used this account with a third-party service that accessed Gemini via Antigravity’s API. I have since disconnected it and revoked access, but suspect server-side account state may be conflicting with the IDE setup process.
Environment:
-
OS: macOS (Apple Silicon)
-
Antigravity: Latest version
-
Account: Personal Google account (@gmail.com) with Google AI Pro subscription
-
Region: Japan
Could someone from the team please check my account’s server-side state and reset the account setup? Browser authentication succeeds every time, so the issue is clearly in the post-authentication provisioning step.
Thank you.
