Antigravity login error: “There was an unexpected issue setting up your account”

**I’m experiencing a login problem with Google Antigravity on Windows.

After signing in with my Google account, Antigravity shows:
“There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. Please try again later.”
and I can’t use the IDE at all.

**Environment**

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Antigravity version: latest desktop version
  • Region / Country: Japan
  • Google account type: (Free / AI Pro / AI Ultra, personal)

**Steps to reproduce**

  1. Launch Antigravity desktop on Windows.
  2. Click “Sign in with Google” and complete the Google OAuth flow successfully.
  3. Immediately after signing in, Antigravity shows a popup with a red X:
“There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. Please try again later.”
  4. After that, I cannot use the IDE at all.

**What I’ve already tried**

  • Reinstalled Antigravity desktop.
  • Deleted local config / cache folders (.gemini etc.).
  • Tried different networks and VPN on/off.
  • On the same PC and network, other Google accounts can sign in successfully.

**Additional notes**

  • Because the login never completes, I can’t open the in‑app “Send feedback” form in Antigravity.
  • It looks like only this specific account is stuck in some backend “account setup” state.

If possible, could someone from the Antigravity team check the backend status for this account and reset/unblock the Antigravity onboarding state?
Any workaround from other users who had the same issue would also be greatly appreciated.
