Antigravity Setup Loop ("Unexpected issue setting up your account") - Pro Account Only

I am completely locked out of the Google Antigravity desktop app on my primary Google account. Upon logging in, the OAuth redirect succeeds in the browser, but the Antigravity setup screen hangs and displays: “There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. Please try again later.” My secondary (free) Google account logs in perfectly fine on the exact same machine and network, confirming this is a server-side flag or sync issue tied specifically to my primary Pro account.

Environment & Account Details:

  • App: Google Antigravity Desktop

  • Account Type: Personal account (Google One AI Pro / Gemini Pro plan active)

  • Region: Sydney, Australia

  • OS: Win11 pro

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Antigravity desktop.

  2. Attempt to sign in using the primary Pro account.

  3. Complete the OAuth flow in the browser.

  4. Return to the app. The setup screen crashes with the red “unexpected issue” error.

Troubleshooting Steps Already Exhausted: I have attempted all standard and advanced local fixes, none of which resolved the issue for the Pro account:

  • Network & Routing: Switched to a mobile hotspot, flushed DNS cache, temporarily disabled local firewalls, and attempted to route through a VPN.

  • Local App Cache: Deleted the main Antigravity AppData/Application Support directories, as well as the hidden .gemini folder to wipe all local tokens.

  • Browser Data: Cleared all third-party cookies and site data for google.com and the Antigravity domain to ensure no broken OAuth tokens were being passed.

  • Account Sync & Permissions: Canceled and immediately renewed my Pro subscription to force a token refresh, removed Antigravity from my Google Account’s “Third-party access” list to force a new handshake, and submitted the Country Association Form.

  • Internal UI Bypasses: Successfully logged in using a secondary free account, but attempting to add and switch to the Pro account from within the IDE’s account manager still failed.

Request: Because my free account works seamlessly, this appears to be a stuck server-side “ghost session” or rate-limit lock on my Pro profile

Did you use a third-party app with the Antigravity OAuth method?

No I am signing in via Antigravity then redirected to broswer OAuth method, when I select my account it returns the error back in antigravity
