Unable to access Google AI Studio – always redirected to API page

Hello,
I am located in Italy, which is listed as a supported region for Google AI Studio. However, every time I try to open aistudio .google.com (both in Chrome and Chromium), I am automatically redirected to the Gemini API / available regions page.

I have already tried:

  • Different browsers (Chrome, Chromium, incognito mode)

  • Clearing cache and cookies

  • Logging in with the same Google account on multiple devices

But the issue persists.
Is this a known bug? How can I get access to AI Studio in a supported region?

Network Test:Disable Wi-Fi on your phone and try accessing the site using only mobile data to rule out home network issues.

Disable VPN/Proxy:Turn off any VPN, proxy, or services like Apple’s Private Relay.

IP Location:Verify your public IP address’s geolocation accurately reflects your current country.

Also Check if you are using a Google Workspace account, as it may have restrictions.
