UI Bug: Chat input text cleared upon agent approval request

I’m encountering a reproducible UI bug in version 2.1.1 of the Google Antigravity IDE. Whenever the agent triggers an approval request (e.g., for file operations or tool use), the text currently being typed in the chat input box is completely wiped/cleared once the approval dialog appears.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Initiate a task with an agent and allow it to start working.

  2. While the agent is processing/working, start typing a new, long message in the chat input box.

  3. Trigger (or wait for) an action that requires agent approval (e.g., the agent attempts to edit a file or run a restricted command).

  4. Observe the chat input box as the approval dialog appears: the text currently being typed is instantly cleared/reset.

Expected behavior: The text in the chat input box should remain preserved and focused while the approval dialog is active.

Actual behavior: The input field is reset and all typed text disappears as soon as the approval dialog overlays the chat UI.
