Title: Request to delete an orphaned AI Studio managed project (resourcemanager.projects.delete issue)

Hello Google AI Team,

I am requesting the manual deletion of an orphaned Google Cloud project that was automatically generated by Google AI Studio.

I am unable to delete this project myself because it was created as a Google Managed Project. My account only has Viewer permissions, resulting in a resourcemanager.projects.delete permission error whenever I attempt to remove it through the GCP console.

Could you please assist in permanently deleting this orphaned project from your backend? The project details are as follows:

Project Name: [noted-tooling-v9v0l]

Project ID: [noted-tooling-v9v0l]

Project Number: [75187707…]

Thank you for your help.

Hi @taeok_kim,
Google AI Studio starter projects do not count against your personal Google Cloud project creation quota and do not incur any charges. Because this project was provisioned under a Google-managed folder hierarchy, project deletion permissions are restricted to the managing system. Leaving an unused starter project in place is completely safe and does not consume your personal project quota slots.

To help us assist you, could you clarify if having this project listed is causing a specific blocker in your workflow? If your main concern was quota limits or unexpected costs, you can safely leave the project as-is.
