So I’ve had a paid account since Feb 2024. For. Long while we mainly used Anthropic models but since Gemini 2.5 we’ve completely switched. Since then we’ve racked up $500 in API costs, all paid on time. I’ve filled out the upgrade form many times and we’re still on Tier 1 which is holding us back. We’ve had no issues with content or anything like that (this is for a historical document transcription and analysis app). Also reached out to Logan on twitter but he is a busy guy. Am I doing something wrong?

The Gemini API uses Cloud Billing for all billing services.
Once your project meets the criteria, it becomes eligible for an upgrade to the next tier on the API key page.
If you believe you meet these prerequisites but do not see an upgrade button, please DM me your Project ID for further investigation.
