Tier 1 Postpay billing account returns 429 "prepayment credits are depleted" on ALL projects — manual billing sync request

Hello, requesting a manual billing sync for the known postpay/prepay sync bug.

Symptom: Every generateContent call returns 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED —
“Your prepayment credits are depleted” — even though the billing
account is active Postpay with a valid card.

Details:

  • Billing account: Inovatif360 Billing (0192F2-024EE4-312C..), active, valid card
  • Project 1: gen-lang-client-0204379997 (AI Studio shows Tier 1 · Postpay)
  • Project 2: inovatif360-gemini (created today as a clean test — same error)
  • Fresh API keys on BOTH projects tested directly via curl — same 429
  • Generative Language API enabled on both projects
  • ListModels works; only billed generateContent calls fail
  • Billing account was created today (~04:00 UTC) after KYC verification;
    error persists 18+ hours

This matches the staff-confirmed incident where accounts were erroneously
switched to prepay. Both projects affected — issue appears to be at the
billing account level. Requesting manual sync/revert. Thank you.

Hello @Marketing_inovatif36 ,
Note: There is no manual billing sync process at our end.

AIS requires a prepayment balance to consume Cloud credits. Deposit the minimum $10 amount into your AI Studio prepay wallet to resume using your Cloud credits and retry calls after adding funds. If you still face issues, let us know.

Note: Prepay users must purchase Prepaid credits before they can use any Google Cloud credits that are eligible for the Gemini API. Once you have an active Prepay credit balance, eligible Google Cloud credits are consumed before your Prepay credit balance. When your Prepay credit balance on the billing account hits $0, Google Cloud credits will no longer be consumed.
