Recently, Google’s Gemini 3 Flash model was getting much better and seeing a lot more use in the Pro model. I liked it too, and I saw many people talking positively about it. But at the same time, concerns were also being raised about it. I had a feeling Google would eventually do something that would make the Flash series models more expensive — and here we are.
The token consumption is now really bad, and the output quality compared to 3.1 Flash also feels worse. On top of that, getting locked out so easily is frustrating. Imagine being in the middle of debugging a serious problem and suddenly having to stop and wait just to get basic help again
