Supervised fine-tuned Gemini 2.5 Pro endpoints — what happens after Oct 17, 2026 shutdown?

I run a production service using supervised fine-tuned Gemini 2.5 Pro endpoints on Vertex AI.

The deprecation page shows gemini-2.5-pro shutting down on Oct 17, 2026.

I’d like to request clarification on two points:

  1. Will fine-tuned endpoints created from gemini-2.5-pro also stop serving on that date?

  2. Is supervised fine-tuning support planned for Gemini 3.1 Pro (or any 3.x model)? If so, any rough timeline?

I need to plan my migration path. Thank you.
