[Stitch] RPC failed: code=7 (PERMISSION_DENIED) - Request to reset corrupt tenant project

I accidentally deleted the underlying internal service account on tenant project glowing-gearing-nmvz5. Stitch UI now returns [Stitch] RPC failed: code=7. Please unbind or reset my Google Labs tenant project.

Hello Mahendra, once that service account is wiped, Google’s backend blocks all incoming requests with [Stitch] RPC failed: code=7 (PERMISSION_DENIED). Browser-side fixes won’t work since the cloud security key is missing.

Here is how you can resolve this right now:

  1. Spin up a New Project: Head to stitch.withgoogle.com and click + New Project to get a fresh service account. Copy over your HTML/CSS and DESIGN.md rules using the Export menu on your broken project so you don’t lose progress.

  2. Try Restore in GCP: If you manage the project in your GCP Console, go to IAM & Admin > Service Accounts and undelete the service account.
