Apparently, a single session of rapid usage inside Google Flow can trigger a permanent “unusual activity” account throttle.
As a paying Pro user, I use the integrated image generation features heavily for my creative projects. Normally, I generate at a standard pace. However, over a week ago, while trying to get a specific design detail just right, I made a series of rapid generation requests in a short window of time.
There was no warning against doing this, but when the system suddenly stopped me with an “unusual activity” flag, I immediately realized I had crossed an automated speed threshold and to avoid it in the future. I completely accepted that, and expected things to reset to normal after a short cooldown period.
Instead, it has been over a week, and my account is permanently throttled. Specifically, my max image generation count has dropped down to one, and attempting to request more than one at a time immediately triggers an “unusual activity” stop error.
I understand that these aggressive systems are built to catch automated bots, but right now it is trapping a legitimate, human Pro user in a permanent penalty loop for a mistake that isn’t even warned against in the UI. A single instance of rapid creative iteration shouldn’t result in a permanent security lock. I’ve already reached out to the standard help center with no resolution. Could an engineer or moderator please look into clearing this sticky flag on my account ID?
