Since 1.18.* extreme freezing of the UI when the model works?

I’m using Ubuntu 22.04
I’m now back to this Antigravity version:

  • 1.16.5-1770081357

because these versions are completly un-usable for me.
Every time the model works the UI is freezing that it’s even not possible to look around the files during waiting for the model to get finished.
I dont see here posts about my issue, but the Gemini Chat tells that its a known problem and I can try to disable GPU, but this does not help to prevent my issue.
