I was eagerly awaiting this update to fix the RAM issues in version 1.16.
But to my surprise, it’s even worse now… I updated to 1.18.3 and rebooted my PC running Ubuntu 25.10, but I’m experiencing a freeze when running any prompt.
I’ve also reported several bugs with the use of Workflows in the Agent Manager, which don’t work, and workflows being mixed up with skills in the code editor. We have the right to ask if you test your releases before deploying them?
Furthermore, I share the dissatisfaction of those with a Google AI Pro subscription. I wasn’t one of them initially, but I opted for Google AI Ultra three weeks ago, thinking it would be better. While I do have more quota, with all the issues with Google Antigravity, it’s becoming difficult to justify paying €140 now, and then €275… I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn’t just quit and go back to Claude Code Max and my good old VS Code. It’s all well and good to want to be different and disruptive, but it’s better to have something stable.
So, if anyone from the Google Antigravity team, @Abhijit_Pramanik, could tell us what to do now?
@Ftagn & @RAFIN_G I wanted to test Gemini 3.1 Pro, but you can’t unless you upgrade… So I upgraded to test it, and strangely enough, with the Claude Opus 4.6 model, it crashed, but with Gemini 3.1 Pro, there were no problems.
I’ve retried the 1.18.3 today, deleting all my old conversations as suggested in another topic. Doing this it works flawlessly. Kinda backward compatibility issue. With an empty 1.16 history all is ok
I’m having the same issue. I’m using Lubuntu, and my most recent history isn’t showing up—only old chats from 3 or 4 weeks ago. Also, if I load an old one and send a new prompt, it just freezes.
hey I’m on pc. I just reinstalled the last version. it’s out of sync but i’m just sorting that out. a little annoying but at least the service is still working as opposed to pure outage. Thanks for your tips! @Antoine_SVC
