Hello community and developers,
I am an agentic engineer, an active user of Google Antigravity for development, and a long-time Pro tier subscriber. I had already come to terms with the existing limits, but the state of the platform over the last few days is beyond comparison. The service has become virtually unusable.
I want to bring two critical issues to the team’s attention:
1. Severe UI Freezes and Client Bugs The Antigravity app has become incredibly buggy. I am working on a Mac M4 Max, so this is definitely not a local hardware bottleneck. Yet, every single time I send a prompt to an agent, the UI completely freezes. I can tolerate some glitches, but this severely disrupts the workflow.
2. Catastrophic Drop in Model Speed and Quality Tasks that used to take a few minutes are now taking hours to complete. Worse yet, the final output quality has noticeably degraded and frequently fails to meet basic development standards.
The Root Cause? There is a strong suspicion among users that this massive degradation is directly tied to the unauthorized abuse of Ultra accounts via OpenClaw. Because of these bad actors, regular, legitimate users—who have supported and paid for this service from the very beginning without violating any terms—are the ones suffering. We expect better from the Google team.
Questions for the Team: I understand that you are trying to block these abused accounts, but it feels like a game of whack-a-mole. Abusers will always find workarounds. We need more radical, systemic changes to ensure a stable service for legitimate users.
Why was Cloud Code, for example, able to immediately patch a similar exploit and strictly prohibit this kind of abuse both technically and legally? Why can’t a similar decisive action be taken here?
I sincerely hope for an honest response from the development team and urgent measures to stabilize the platform.
Thank you.
