Hello everyone,
I’m currently working on a game to apply for the Gemini API Developer Competition, I plan to use several tools, including DALL·E from OpenAI (For background images and UI), VRoid Studio for character creation, and assets from the Unity Asset Store.
I’ve thoroughly reviewed the terms of use and privacy policies for each tool, and it seems like they all comply with the competition’s rules. However, I want to ensure that I’m not missing any crucial details that could potentially lead to disqualification.
Here are the key points from my research:
-
DALL·E (OpenAI):
- Terms of Use: Requires adherence to ethical guidelines, ensuring generated content does not cause harm or mislead.
- Privacy Policy: OpenAI ensures user data protection, allowing users to manage their data.
-
VRoid Studio:
- Terms of Use: Permits creation and commercial use of 3D models. Users can sell and modify models as long as they are not misrepresented as officially affiliated with pixiv Inc.
- Privacy Policy: Collects personal data for account management and improving user experience, with appropriate protections.
- More info: VRoid Studio
-
Unity Asset Store:
- Terms of Use: Allows use of assets in projects provided licensing agreements are respected. Prohibits redistribution outside the intended project.
- Privacy Policy: Ensures personal data is used appropriately, focusing on user data protection.
- More info: Unity Asset Store
Has anyone here used these tools for similar purposes? Are there any potential pitfalls or specific points I should be particularly careful about to ensure compliance? Any advice or insights from your experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
