Can I use external AI API for some features?

Hi,

My app will be of course based on the Gemini API which will do the main job, but to make it more interesting I need to generate images, I didn’t find a Google service which provides an API to generate images.

Can I use an external AI tool for this feature or it may impact negatively my submission?

Welcome to the forums!

You are welcome to use other APIs, as long as Gemini is at the core of what you’re doing.

(Check out Google’s Imagen API as one option for image generation. Available on the Google Cloud Vertex AI platform.)
