Hello,
Scrolling between messages is currently broken and very frustrating.
I cannot use the keyboard arrow keys or the mouse wheel to move smoothly, which makes working almost impossible.
The scrollbar feels stupid and useless right now, getting in the way instead of helping.
I hope this gets fixed.

This is really critical issue user experience is completely down.. i can’t click on the chat and can’t move up or down using pageup/page down…what page up/page down does is moving the location of cursor to my previous question or next question…if the AI answer is big ..i am seeing in the last few liine and i can’t move up or down in chat

Same problem here.:
The new scrollbar has now a good visual overview function, but it is very “clunky” to use, and jumps always to start or end of a “promt section”. I have to klick and hold with the mouse to impede this. But it is difficult to klick on the scrollbar, if it overlaps with the new “promt markers”, they seem prioritized over the scrollbar 
This wouldn’t bother me if I could scroll with my up and down keys, like before, but this function lays now on the page up and page down keys 
, on my laptop keyboard I have to press function + up to achieve page up

I really like AI Studio, but this makes it frustrating over time.
And by the way, I don’t like the automatic scrolling to the end of the chat at all, when a new answer is generated. I like to stay at the position I was, to read further, but now I have to scroll up and search where I was…
