On windows + latest version of firefox, scrolling up in length AI Studio conversation is incredibly buggy, the page is actively fighting off the scroll-up action which forces the user to delete messages to be able to see previous ones

I have the same problem. I have never experienced a long conversation that did not have this problem, half a year or longer. It’s a very-very inconvenient and frustrating. I’m using a Mac, and primarily Firefox. I hope Google gives this the attention it deserves and can resolve this bug… I found this thread while looking for a solution…
I am using Win11, Firefox 140.0.4. Got the same behaviour of the UI.
I would recommend reinstalling your browser and trying again.

Same problem here, using Firefox-v128.14.0esr on Debian Trixie. Have installed extra Chromium-v139.0.7258.138, but same issues:
The new scrollbar has now a good visual overview function, but it is very “clunky” to use, and jumps always to start or end of a “promt section”. I have to klick and hold with the mouse to impede this. But it is difficult to klick on the scrollbar, if it overlaps with the new “promt markers”, they seem prioritized over the scrollbar
This wouldn’t bother me if I could scroll with my up and down keys, like before, but this function lays now on the page up and page down keys 
, on my laptop keyboard I have to press function + up to achieve page up

I really like AI Studio, but this makes it frustrating over time.
