Subject: Request to restore GitHub repository binding in Google AI Studio
Hello Google AI Studio Support Team,
I previously had my Google AI Studio Build application connected to the following GitHub repository:
nguila/registar-assiduidade
I disconnected the repository using the Disconnect repository option in AI Studio and subsequently revoked the Google AI Studio authorization in GitHub.
I now want to connect the same existing AI Studio application to a different repository:
Data-CoLAB/portal-registo-assiduidade
The target repository already exists, is currently empty, and my GitHub account (nguila) has Admin permissions.
However, the original AI Studio workspace only displays the option Create new repository. There is no option to select or link an existing repository.
I would like to:
-
Preserve my original AI Studio workspace and application.
-
Connect it directly to
Data-CoLAB/portal-registo-assiduidade. -
Enable bidirectional GitHub synchronization.
-
Avoid creating another repository or exporting/importing the project as a ZIP file.
Could you please advise whether the original workspace’s GitHub repository binding can be reset or restored to allow linking the existing Data-CoLAB repository?
Thank you.
