Google AI Studio GitHub Sync Issue – Unable to Reconnect Existing Repository

I am having this problem and need urgent suport

Existing AI Studio app lost GitHub repository binding after disconnect.

AI Studio app: XXXX
GitHub repository: XXX/XXX
Branch: main

The repository was previously connected successfully. GitHub sync subsequently showed “Failed to check GitHub sync status.” I accidentally disconnected the GitHub connection while troubleshooting.

The Google AI Studio GitHub App is installed and has access to improsysdev/GECAGAPE. Repository access has been verified and saved.

However, the original AI Studio workspace now only displays “A new GitHub repository will be created” and “Create new repository.”

I need the existing AI Studio workspace re-bound to the existing repository rather than creating a new repository.
