Hello Google Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API project because its Free Tier access has been restricted.
Google AI Studio shows:
Billing Tier: Unavailable
Status: Restricted
It displays this message:
“This Project’s API access is restricted. Please set up billing to continue.”
I do not want to enable billing or use the Paid Tier. I only want to use the eligible Free Tier of the Gemini API for legitimate, low-volume development and testing.
I have completed:
- Age verification
- Phone verification
- 2-Step Verification
The Gemini API is enabled in Google Cloud, and my API key is properly restricted to the Gemini API. I also checked the API quota and there is no indication that the normal quota has been exhausted.
I kindly request that you manually review my project and remove the restriction if there is no policy or security violation, so I can continue using the eligible Free Tier without enabling billing or making any payment.
If there is a specific reason for this restriction, please let me know what I need to do to restore my Free Tier access.
