Hello Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of Gemini API access for my Google AI Studio project.
Project name: Hermes-Gemini
Project ID: hermes-gemini-50922.
Project number: 8671913440..
Google AI Studio currently shows:
- Project status: Restricted
- Billing tier: Unavailable
Every Gemini API request returns:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
I have completed the recommended account verification steps:
- Age verification: completed
- Phone verification: completed
- 2-Step Verification: enabled
I also created a new API key for this project and tested the API directly using REST/cURL, independently of my application.
The direct API request also returns the same 403 error, confirming that the problem is not related to my application, SDK, or Hermes configuration.
My intended use is legitimate, low-volume personal development and testing of an AI orchestration system. Gemini would be used as an auxiliary model for task delegation and development/testing.
I would like to remain on the eligible Free Tier and do not want to enable paid billing merely to bypass an access restriction.
Could the Gemini API team please manually review the restriction on this project and restore Gemini API access if the restriction was applied in error?
