Request for manual review: app suspended for abuse, no reason given (91febe05)

My AI Studio app was suspended. I’d like a manual review — or, failing that, a statement of the specific policy it violated.

App ID: 91febe05-da54-42d7-becc-5f18bd074f7d

What I see: “App suspended for abuse — This app was suspended for violations of our policies.” The app no longer appears in My apps.

When: Found it the night of 18-19 October 2026, Alaska time. I had been editing the app earlier that evening with no issue.

Notice received: None. No email, no in-product warning beforehand.

WHAT THE APP IS

Fjordfall Lite is an offline directory of businesses and public services across the 34 communities of Southeast Alaska — a region where many towns are road-inaccessible and have no consolidated local directory. The live site is https:// fjordfall.app

Each listing carries: name, category, area, a one-line description, address, phone, website, hours, open/closed status, the source URL the information came from, and the date a person last checked it. It is static and read-only — no transactions, no cart, no accounts, no outbound purchase links. It also had an in-app Gemini assistant for answering questions about the listings.

WHAT I AM ASKING

Please tell me which policy was violated. “Violations of our policies” gives me nothing to act on. I am not asking anyone to reverse this sight unseen — I am asking for the reason. If the app can be reviewed and restored, please do.

CANDIDATES I CAN NAME MYSELF

I don’t know the reason, so I won’t pretend to. Here is everything in my own data that I can imagine being the cause, including the parts that don’t help my case.

Cannabis retailers: 14 of 1,225 listings, or 1.1%, in Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Skagway. Alaska legalized adult-use cannabis by ballot measure in 2014; these retailers are licensed by the Alaska Alcohol & Marijuana Control Office, which publishes its licensees publicly. In the app they are labeled “Cannabis store (21+)” and carry no product information, pricing, ordering link, or usage guidance.

Alcohol-related businesses: roughly 107 listings — bars, liquor stores, breweries, distilleries — about 8.7% of the directory, a considerably larger share than the cannabis listings.

One casino, in Juneau.

All of these are licensed Alaska businesses, listed with the same neutral fields as a post office or a fire department.

If the issue is the cannabis listings specifically, say so and I will remove them from the AI Studio build. If it is regulated-business listings generally, say that and I will understand the rule applies to a directory of a real town. If it is something else entirely, I would genuinely like to know — I will fix it.

Happy to provide the full dataset or source for inspection.
