Hello Gemini API DevRel Team,

My Gemini API access suddenly started returning a 403 PERMISSION_DENIED error: “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

This appears to be an automated false-positive flag. I am an individual developer using the VS Code “Cline” extension to test Gemini models for personal coding assistance. I have not engaged in any abuse, scraping, or automated spamming.

Could you please manually review my project and restore my access? Here are my project details:

  • Google Account Email: p....@gmail.com
  • Project Name/ID: app-creat-5021..
  • Project Number: 867585389..
  • Error Message: 403 PERMISSION_DENIED (Your project has been denied access)

Getting a 403 API error response and / or seeing “Unavailable” next to your project in AI audio indicates a flag has been placed on your account. To proceed:

  1. Check for banners / error callouts in the AI Studio Projects page & the Billing page.
