403 PERMISSION_DENIED – Project denied access – Request for manual review

Hello Google AI / Gemini API Support Team,

I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API access.

Project ID:
ambient-hulling-505205-..

When I try to use the Gemini API, I receive the following error:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED
Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.

I am using a personal Google account and currently do not have a Cloud Billing account associated with this project.

I checked the Google Cloud Console, but I do not see any suspension notice, appeal button, or clear explanation for why the project has been denied access.

Could a Google team member please manually review the restriction on this project and let me know whether there is anything I need to do to restore Gemini API access?

Please try the below steps:

  1. Check Model Availability & Rate Limits:

    • Ensure that the model you are requesting is available on your current plan. For example, not all models are available on the free tier. You can verify model availability, quotas, and limits on the AI Studio Rate Limit dashboard.

    • If verifying your account does not restore access (or if using a model requiring a paid tier), you can unlock access by adding prepayment credits directly in Google AI Studio or attaching a Google Cloud Billing account in the Google Cloud Console.
