Request for Manual Review: 403 PERMISSION_DENIED and "Unavailable" Across Multiple Gemini API Projects

Hello Gemini API Team,

I am experiencing an unexpected Gemini API access restriction affecting multiple projects across two separate Google accounts.

Affected projects:

Google Account 1:

  • astrbot-gemini-5020
  • gen-lang-client-08486882..

Google Account 2:

  • gen-lang-client-07381837

The affected projects are currently shown as “Unavailable” in Google AI Studio.

For the affected projects I tested, Gemini API requests return:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

These projects previously worked normally, but the restriction appeared unexpectedly.

I also checked the affected projects in Google Cloud Console. I could not find any warning banner, policy violation notice, suspension reason, or “Request an appeal” option explaining why access was denied.

I have already submitted GCP Account Suspension Inquiry requests through the Google Cloud support troubleshooter, but I am also posting here because the same issue is affecting multiple projects across two separate Google accounts.

Could someone from the Gemini API team please review this issue or help route it to the appropriate team for manual review?

If these restrictions were applied in error, I would appreciate restoration of Gemini API access.

I can provide additional project information, screenshots, error logs, or support tracking numbers if needed.

    • Ensure that the model you are requesting is available on your current plan. For example, not all models are available on the free tier. You can verify model availability, quotas, and limits on the AI Studio Rate Limit dashboard.

    • If verifying your account does not restore access (or if using a model requiring a paid tier), you can unlock access by adding prepayment credits directly in Google AI Studio or attaching a Google Cloud Billing account in the Google Cloud Console.
