I’m a college student currently working on development projects using Google AI Studio/Google Cloud. I’ve been attempying to use the Free Tier, but with the recent rate limit adjustments, I’m hitting the quota/blocked almost immediately when testing using any model.
I would like to move my project to the Paid tier plan to access higher limits, as well as get access to Credits, but I’ve encountered the $30.00 minimum prepayment deposit requirement. As a student on a very tight/NO budget, this upfront cost is a significant barrier that I can’t currently cover.
Are there any active student vouchers, Cloud credits, or specific ways to have this initial deposit waived for educational use? I am happy to provide student verification (SheerID or .edu) if needed. I have my student email and Gemini Pro Discount, as well as a member of the Dev Community.
I’m eager to keep building on the platform but I’m stuck behind this deposit wall. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
