I am experiencing a quota reset issue across 5 different projects using the Gemini API via Tavo.
The 20 Requests Per Day (RPD) free tier limit has failed to reset after more than 24 hours. Instead of resetting back to 20, all 5 projects are stuck allowing only 1 single request before throwing a quota exhaustion error.
My last active chat session was at 1:00 AM local time, and it is now past 11:00 AM, meaning the standard midnight Pacific Time reset window has completely passed.
Could an engineer or moderator please check if there is a backend lock or sync issue affecting my account’s project quotas? Thank you.
The rate limits page is designed to show “peak usage per model compared to its limits over the last 90 days” by default, which is why you may not be seeing an update here.
You can track your current usage on the usage page instead. That said, you should be able to access the model without any errors within the rate limit every day. If that is not the case, can you please share the full 429 error message that you see?
