Problem installing old version of Google Antigravity IDE - Antigravity IDE installer incorrectly reports "This program does not support the installed version of Windows" on Windows 11 25H2

Description

Hello,

I am experiencing a problem installing the latest version of Antigravity IDE on my Windows PC.

System information

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Home
  • Version: 25H2
  • OS Build: 26200.8737
  • Architecture: 64-bit (x64)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-13700H
  • Device: MSI Pulse 17 B13VFK

The system is fully updated through Windows Update.

Problem

I downloaded the latest Antigravity IDE installer from the official releases page:

The installer downloads correctly (approximately 229 MB) and launches without any issue.

However, as soon as the installation starts, it immediately displays the following message:

“This program does not support the version of Windows installed on this computer.”

The installation then stops and cannot continue.

Troubleshooting already performed

To make sure the issue was not caused by my system, I performed the following checks:

  • Confirmed that Windows is 64-bit (x64).
  • Confirmed that the CPU is an Intel x64 processor, not ARM.
  • Confirmed that Windows is fully updated.
  • Downloaded the installer multiple times from the official website.
  • Verified that the installer size is correct (229 MB).
  • Tested the installer with the / ? command-line parameter. The installer launches correctly and displays the Inno Setup help screen, which confirms that the executable itself can run.
  • Checked for previous Antigravity installations.
  • Removed any remaining Antigravity folders.
  • Verified that Antigravity is not listed under Installed Apps.
  • Rebooted the computer several times.
  • Verified the Windows registry values:
    • CurrentBuild = 26200
    • DisplayVersion = 25H2
  • Confirmed that there are no compatibility settings enabled on the installer.

Additional observations

Interestingly, the installer executable itself runs correctly (for example with the / ? parameter), which suggests that the error is generated by an internal compatibility check during the installation process rather than by Windows itself.

Given that the system fully satisfies the published requirements (Windows 11 x64), I suspect that the installer may not correctly recognize Windows 11 version 25H2 (build 26200) or there may be another issue in the compatibility detection logic.

Request

Could you please confirm:

  1. Whether Windows 11 25H2 (Build 26200) is officially supported.
  2. Whether this is a known issue with the current installer.
  3. Whether an updated installer or workaround is available.

If necessary, I am happy to provide installer logs, screenshots, or perform additional tests.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
