Hello Google Team,
I am unable to create my first Google Cloud Billing Account.
Error:
Billing setup can’t be completed.
Error Code: OR_BACR2_44
I have already tried the following:
• Country: India
• Google Payments profile is active
• ICICI Visa Credit Card
• International, online and recurring transactions are enabled
• Tried with my personal Gmail account
• Tried with a Google Workspace account
• Tried creating a new Google Cloud project
• Tried Google AI Studio and Google Cloud Console
• Tried different browsers
• Every attempt fails with the same OR_BACR2_44 error.
Google performs a ₹2 verification charge on my credit card for every attempt, but the billing account is never created.
Could someone please investigate whether there is an account restriction or backend issue preventing billing account creation?
