NOT FAIR - Please Deliver What was Advertised!

Dear Antigravity Team,

I am writing this with genuine frustration and honestly speaking, a lot of disappointment.

When Google announced Antigravity, it was like a dream come true for people like us. I am not a professional developer. I am a motion graphics editor by profession. But I had a dream to build my own application for my business. Antigravity made that feel possible. Finally someone like me could also create something without needing years of coding knowledge.

The promise was clear. Pro subscribers will get 5 hour refresh cycle for rate limits. This is exactly what was written in your December announcement. This is why we trusted and subscribed.

But what is happening now?
We are getting locked out for 2 to 3 days. Some of us are seeing weekly limits hitting after just 8 to 10 uses. Where is the 5 hour refresh? Where is the “priority access” you promised? This is not what we paid for.

I understand that demand is high. I understand that running these models is expensive for Google also. But then why advertise something you cannot deliver? If the situation was going to change, atleast inform us properly na? One blog post saying “due to demand we are reducing limits temporarily” would be acceptable. But silent throttling while keeping same marketing? This is not fair treatment of paying customers.

Some suggestions that can make everyone happy:

  1. If 5 hour refresh is not possible, atleast make it 24 hour refresh. One day is reasonable. Weekly is too much.
  2. Give us transparency. Show us our remaining quota in Antigravity itself. Right now we are depending on third party extensions to even know where we stand. Why should we install community plugins for basic information?
  3. If Claude models are the issue, reduce Claude limits only. But Gemini is your own model na? Atleast Gemini should work properly for Pro subscribers.
  4. Communicate changes officially. When you increased Thinking model limits from 100 to 300, you announced it. So why are decreases happening silently?
I am not asking for free unlimited access. I am asking for what was advertised. That is basic consumer right only.

For people like me who are not from coding background, Antigravity is not just a tool. It is our only chance to bring our ideas to life. When we hit limits in middle of building something, we loose our momentum, we loose our excitement, and sometimes we loose hope also. Yesterday I was excited about my project. Today I am stuck staring at a rate limit error. This is real impact on real peoples dreams.

I know Google is a big company and maybe one users complaint means nothing. But look at the forum. So many people are facing same issue. Look at Reddit. Same complaints everywhere. We are not making this up.

Please understand. We WANT to use Antigravity. We LOVE the product. That is why we are paying for it. But do not make us regret that decision.
If limits need to change permanently, then change the advertising also. Update the pricing page. Let new subscribers know what they are actually getting. But for existing Pro subscribers who joined based on 5 hour promise, please honour that commitment.

We trusted Google with our money and our dreams. Now Google should trust us back by being transparent and fair.

Hoping for positive response and some action.

Thank you.
A frustrated but hopeful Subscriber

Do google staff answer or respond here?

Acknowledging a failure to deliver the promised 5-hour refresh would constitute a legal admission of liability, potentially triggering massive class-action lawsuits for false advertising. By remaining silent or using vague “technical” language, Google’s legal team avoids creating a paper trail that the FTC or angry subscribers could use to prove a breach of contract. Effectively, they prioritize legal protection and financial safety over transparent communication to ensure that their “right to change service” remains unchallenged in court.

STILL NOTHING!!! Not even a single mail, just silent throttling.

I’m rarely using Antigravity, sometimes I left it to 80% of a model quotas until it reset back to 100% in 5 hours. But one time I use it until 20% left, I got it stuck at 20% and it shows the quota would be reset in 5 days. That terrifying.

What’s terrifying is the prospect of returning to manual coding if these AI tools fail. That’s a step backward I’m not ready to take.

Okay this is getting more funnier now  My quota was refreshed yesterday at 15:00, my working hours until 16:00, which I can safely say I finished my task so didn’t use it anymore, after that I even not taken out my laptop from my bag. Today, when I ready for using it again, it says that I’m out of quota  I know complaining would not help, so I will just decided to not continuing the subscription and move to the other platform like Github Copilot which more transparent of the usage!
