Post the recent changes announced for Antigravity, the AI PRO plans have internally changed to AI Flash only plans. Flash model is the only one that refreshes every 5 hrs, but the PRO and Claude models refresh every 7 days. Claude models we can understand, this is just a sample for people to get using Antigravity. But PRO models, what is it for? Why you call calling this as a PRO plan when you dont give access to PRO plan. I raised this with Google Support and have been following up, Still being investigated is the last couple of responses. The usage limit viewer in Antigravity feels legacy and does not reflect in realtime, and no one knows what the usage limits are. PRO models runs out of limit within 1 hr of coding session - Lucky if you can cross 10 prompts. Iāve already switched to Claude PRO plans in the meanwhile, atleast it is transparent. The limits are still low, 1 hr coding session, the runs out, but i get back in 5 hrs though. This Antigravity does not feel like a Google product, and definitely not built with a Customer First mindset, feel more like a rushed out tool.
Totally agree. Clearly Google have some capacity constraints and itās getting worse the more popular theyāre becoming. It was definitely less constrained 6 months ago. Can only hope Google resolve soon.
Hello @Sudhar @Matt_Hall, welcome to AI Forum!
To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity.
Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, weāve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.
I love the generic answer
āwe made you buy it and then removed everything that made it usefull and now we ask you for a lot more money to have a slightly usable productā
I got a waiting time of 3 days, sent 1 (ONE ) prompt and got 7 whole days ( until 18/03 )
As I was honestly afraid of using the tokens right away so I waited one more full day till today, guess what:
Not even 1 single message, not 1 prompt, just this.
This is honestly infuriating and the worst customer service Iāve ever had.
The issue is why are you selling as PRO plan, and promising 5hr refresh when people get into it, and stop all of sudden and change it a Flash plan. The Credits are useless as its gets. the 1000 Free credits became 600 odd credits within 4-5 queries to the PRO model, so this is like having an additional 1 hr in the week. If you are placing the PRO 5 hr refresh with Credits, then it should be equivalent. Also update all your documentation to reflect the PRO model is only for Ultra user, and make it clear or increase your Credit to 10000, to get close to 10 coding sessions per week if you are replacing like for like plan. Thats the main heading, change it to Google Flash plan, dont keep it as a PRO plan and trick people into this plan.
Just realising the 1000 AI credits are actually monthly, so meaning Google is giving around 1 additional hour of coding session per month as a replacement for the 5hr refresh cycle advertised in the PRO Plan for Gemini PRO models. This is insane. So my earlier comment about 10000 credit is valid only if it refreshes every week like the PRO model. Common you can do better at simplifying, some are 5 hrs, and some are 1 week refresh cycle and some are 1 month refresh cycle, so confusing. Add to it it is already a blackbox, no one knows how these limits are getting used. Oh wait, Has some one built these Antigravity limit idea with Google Flash models, which does not have any context beyond what was implemented in the previous prompt, and come up with its own new idea for each query.
It is, indeed, a blackbox
You have broken your previous promise, which has caused great harm to the users. Now with the weekly pro refresh frequency, are we really supposed to be coding āhello worldā every day?
My quota is broken. I waited a week for my quota to update. I waited for the timer to reset. The timer reset. A new countdown started. The quota didnāt increase. It was zero and it stayed zero. I tried deleting and creating a new authorization token. I tried logging out and back into Antigravity. I tried reinstalling Antigravity. I tried logging into Antigravity from another device. Nothing helped. My quota remained at zero, just like before. I paid for this service a year in advance, and you are pulling this kind of nonsense. Fix my quota.
@Abhijit_Pramanik is this final? Or is Google rethinking this āstructureā? Let us know please.
The Pro plan is not even for āpractical buildersā.
Plan āProā - Well! Listen, my friend, I and all of us here think that plan isnāt as āProā as the name suggests.
Unfortunately, we have NEVER seen anything āProā and have NEVER seen anything like it.
Google didnāt notify me of changes and did not give me option to cancel my contract after already breaching their contractual obligations.
So disappointed! I have cancelled my subscription which expires at March 26th.
UPDATE: Iāve also been emailing the Google Support team and also shared this and all these forum link to indicate the broader issue that needs to be addressed before they start loosing customers, not just a bug affecting me (thats how it was initailly projected with the support conversations and ended up in the intial loop of Logout, Clear cache, clear Key chain, Uninstall / reinstall Antigravity - all was just a waste of time when there is a bigger issue going on.).
But to my surprise, when i opened Antigravity today, it feels like it is back to normal. Not sure if this is a new bug and will soon reset back to 7 days for the PRO plan. Let me start using and see how it goes
Further update, the usage again reverted back. No one knows which is bug and which is right. Many products are getting decommissioned by Google after an year or two. Who ever has built this Model Usage limit feature needs to be fired from Google, and this feature needs to be decommissioned first. Total waste of time. Iāve already cancelled my PRO plan with Google, will continue with Claude and try Codex.
Yeah, I totally agree, too. Claude models last 2 prompts and reach their limits; itās just pathetic.
I think that they are adjusting the offering in real time with demand vs supply. Demand is probably accelerating at such a rapid pace, and supply is certainly not growing as fast. Iām hoping techniques like KVTC with 20x compression can help. They can also take advantage of the IDE āconstraintā to employ techniques that reduce context window usage like vector embeddings, semantic search, merkle trees, sliding windows, ast parsing etc. Unfortunately I donāt see that being done, the internal agent often uses āgrepā to find functional references.
I completely agree on that and I recently switched to Claude Pro. AntiGravity was doing fine until 3 weeks back, and now they have drastically capped all the model limits and now the entire subscription feels useless.
Iāll be cancelling my subscription and moving to Claude in that case. I encourage the rest of you to do so also.
