Google should be ASHAMED of itself. Not only is it a multibillion-dollar company, but it also can’t even offer us unlimited prompts on the CHATBOT (not the AI Studio API) on 2.5, which is literally the oldest still usable pro model on their site. While ChatGPT offers practically unlimited prompts, with probably about 50 prompt limit (I haven’t tested it) which works for multiple convos on their LATEST model and allows for unlimited prompts on it’s previous model, which isn’t even last generation.

But are those lower rate limits a temporary thing while the service is wacky and buggy or its a new thing. Google One would be awesome!!

How long are paying users supposed to keep waiting before we are allowed to use the full, proper version of the product?
Why is it that when I pay for subscriptions to competitors, I get access to their most advanced and powerful models - but when I pay for the Gemini app, I get a clearly restricted, heavily constrained version that feels much weaker than what is available in Google AI Studio?
Please synchronize the subscription quotas between the Gemini app and Google AI Studio already.
I am not asking for API access.
I am not asking to embed keys into my own projects.
I simply want to use the built-in chat inside Google AI Studio for personal use. Is that really such a difficult thing to enable?
People keep pointing out that the difference between the Gemini app and Google AI Studio feels like night and day - and consistently in favor of AI Studio. This perception is not going away, and many of us are experiencing it in real workflows.
What is especially frustrating is the feeling that paying Gemini subscribers are being held back from the best version of the model that Google already clearly has running in AI Studio.
Why not give loyal, paying users a reasonably priced path to access Google’s most capable model through their existing subscription?
Right now, it does not feel like a technical limitation. It feels like a product gap that is actively undermining user trust.

Pro version here and I have only around 20 prompts per day now. Really sad 
And now I am stuck in their ecosystem basically with my app. Using their API key is such a gamble so I will not do it since there is no limit usage yet.

This is getting OUTRAGEOUS. Today, I opened up Google Studio, and not even after 2 messages of 3.1 it said my quota was over. Like, WTF? 3.0 also had the same issue, turning off after 5-6 messages.

The same situation here…2-3 prompts and i get information about quota exceed (Ai Plus plan…). What the hell is going…

Google always has some way of messing with their Search and now it is search and AI.

Something as simple as this would solve the issue. Google will not fix this issue either as it’s a feature now
I’m experiencing the same issue. I’ve started getting the “Quota exceeded” error message when starting up a single prompt. So I attached an API key to the project as the Studio advised. Even when paying the subscription fee and linking it to charge the additional usage it’s still saying, “Quota exceeded”.
I checked the Rate Limit page in studio and cannot see that any limits have been reached. And I’m using 2.5 Flash, tested it on the other versions, and it’s the same outcome.

Things have been working pretty well today, a few errors but on the whole, doing great stuff. However I’ve used up my free quota, so assigned a paid API key as prompted, yet that also gets:
“Quota exceeded. Please try again later.”
Please can we get this fixed Google team! I’m working on an app to help convince our org we need to be using technology like this… partly because we can turn things around quickly, with custom solutions and the unreliability of service isn’t helping toward that goal.

I’ve been trying for days to integrate a paid key into ai Studio. The project is linked to the billing account in Google Cloud, and the payment method is configured. Despite this, ai Studio only creates APIs with a free key. Switching to a paid API at any time simply isn’t possible.
Ignore this, they have changed it. You cannot longer use pro model in vertex for now
The honestly need to integrate a way to see RPD for free uses into the Ai studio, having it change every day without being informed at all is absolutely absurd
You blink and the rate is now a half-hearted sneeze of a message by the ai, why?

Also, just making it so there’s an easier way to have a RPD displayed of all the different models available would be greatly appreciated, Having to search through menus or connect an Api Key just be able to tell how many generations I’ve done is really really annoying.

The thing is, it ONLY works with paid Api keys, when you’re on the free tier it doesn’t track at all, leaving you guessing!
It’s bad especially when they keep changing the free RPD every whenever they want

When are we getting Google One integration? When’s it going to happen? We’ve been waiting for weeks, and I want to get back to using the Studio again.
