Hey!
Overall, I’m having a good experience with Antigravity. Just a few annoyances that are common with new products. Here’s my honest feedback, and a wishlist to make Antigravity feel 100% better (to me at least).
- New conversations: We should be able to NAME it, optionally. And if we do it, keep the name and do not change it. The automatic naming sucks, makes the sidebar a mess. At least allow us to RENAME them.
- Remember what we typed in each conversation text prompt. Sometimes I’m writing a new prompt, switch to make some comment somewhere, and when I get back, my typed text is gone. BAD!
- Agent mode: Display MD files and artefacts formatted (preview mode). And a checkbox to switch to source for those who like it.
- Editor: The workflow editor Embed the usual text editor in it! Why push us to Notepad when we have the best code editor in our hands?
- New setting: “Pre-approved Commands”. Allow us to pre-approve commands such as grep, pnpm build, and find… I’ll never use “Always Proceed”. “Agent Decides“ is not very smart, I like to review implementation plans. So I have to leave it in “Always Review“, and babysit it to approve to do greps and builds… makes no sense.
- Now, when the agent asks us to execute a command, allow us to add that command to the new Pre-approved Commands setting, right? That would be nice.
And the only thing that really pisses me off…
-what are the navigation buttons beside the search bar??? Go to previous and next file. I use it like 100 times a day! Cursor removed them, now you. VSCode still has them!
Bring it on!
